So I’m staying in Toronto, with an amazingly hospitable couple and their two kittens. And last night, when I dragged my weariness back to the house, Tragos had sent me roses!! The kittens thought the ribbon was pretty exciting. The couple were preparing to sing me happy birthday. But no, it wasn’t my birthday. It was the anniversary of a day we used to celebrate each year before we got married. The anniversary of a day when I came back from rowing a race in college, all bedraggled and broken but heart-soaring. I was to meet Tragos in the map section of Borders in Ann Arbor. We found a map and picked a spot to drive to. What happened then was an adventure that blew our minds and probably sealed us together…Thank you Tragos!!!!!!!! (GPO us 7yrs ago)
